CURRENT VISION AND PURSUITS

DEALINGS ON THE WORK WITHIN

(A) STAGE 1 OF DEALINGS

Village outreaches featuring:

• The preaching of the Word of God
• Distribution of food items
• Distribution of clothes
• Free medical consultation and treatment

Promises of God, already being fulfilled:

• He will bless it when we take the first steps
• He has raised help for this to be effectively administered
• Souls will be won and healings will take place
• Through this, we will see the hands and helpers He has promised us

Instructions relating to ongoing outreaches and future stages of the work:

• Don’t be afraid to request for help in relation to skilled labour, where necessary. We believe this refers to doctors, nurses, pharmacists, laboratory workers, and so on. This might also include school teachers and any other professionals that could contribute to the other visions highlighted under Stage 2 of the dealings we have.

• Acknowledge those that the Lord has used. We seize this opportunity to thank The Rev. Dr. W. A. Isaacs-Sodeye, Dr Bayo Fatunmbi, Drs. Austin Okeme, Femi Taiwo, Nneka Okaforagwu, Salisu Abekwu, as well as Mike Ohue, a pharmacist. We also want to acknowledge Mrs L. Akinlami, Mrs T. Ogundipe and Pastor and Mrs N. Olajoyegbe, all of whom have donated clothes and food items. Finally, we are grateful for the contributions made by Gboyega Osobu and Pastor Sam Ayodele, especially as they relate to our outreaches in Uganda.

(B) STAGE TWO OF DEALINGS

• A care school
• A care clinic
• A resort base
• A home planted by the Lord

(C) HIGHLIGHTS ON CARE SCHOOL

• A non-fee paying school
• Teaching and bringing up children
• Giving educational opportunities to the underprivileged

Initial Steps

• Supporting some children in public primary schools in Abuja, Nigeria
• Supporting a vulnerable children’s school in Uganda with donations
• Sponsoring the post-secondary education of a young lady in Uganda

(D) HIGHLIGHTS ON CARE CLINIC

• Free medical consultation
• Administration of drugs
• Follow up treatment where necessary

Initial Steps

• Several medical outreaches held in Kpeyegyi, a village located on the outskirts of Abuja
• Referrals made to National Hospital, the most equipped government hospital in Abuja, Nigeria
• Accompanying two of the referred patients and paying their medical expenses
• Still bearing the cost of management of one of the patients, after almost two years, while contributing to the cost of managing the other

(E) HIGHLIGHTS ON RESORT BASE

• A place of resort for men who desire to consider the ways of the Lord
• A place of fellowship and training
• A mandate to do a simple and constructive work of discipleship

Initial Steps

• We have always maintained an open house policy
• This vision has witnessed various stages of fulfilment during our sojourn in Kano, Ibadan and now Abuja, all cities located in Nigeria
• The Lord has recently provided us suitable office accommodation that provides a better platform for the vision (of a resort base) to be fulfilled. In addition, we have applied for land in Abuja in preparation for further aspects of the fulfilment of this vision.
• In addition to fellowship meetings currently holding in Kpeyegyi and Asokoro, both located in Abuja, meetings have commenced in our new location.
• Training programmes are likely to commence soon, subject to our understanding of the Lord’s timing.

(F) HIGHLIGHTS ON “A HOME PLANTED BY THE LORD”

• A place for lodging guests
• A home for the lost and unsheltered
• A platform for finding direction in God
Initial Steps
• Again, we have always maintained an open house
• We have housed guests, provided shelter for the stranded and helped to pay house rents for the underprivileged
• A section of the office facility is reserved for the lodging of guests
